Introduction

“Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, is the only one who came to the world with the message of “salvation and redemption”. Salvation and redemption are summed up in showing God’s love for sinners. The law of God provides that sinners shall be punished for their sins because the soul that sins shall surely die. But all humans, with no exception, are sinners. Therefore, Holy Christ came to serve as a mediator between Holy God and sinful man. With his arrival, the atonement was received, and he died on the cross instead of the sinners. Instead of punishing the sinful man, Christ was punished and therefore redeemed people when he died for them on the cross. The death of Jesus on the cross is known as “Death of Christ the Redeemer”. He had not died for certain people, but for all sinners without exception. In this regard, The Bible says: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) and also says: “8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” (Romans 5: 10-11).

“The Holy Bible says that sin was introduced to the world by a human (Adam), and also atonement was received by another human (Jesus), it says: “19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous .. 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:19 and 21).

“Regarding the death of Christ the redeemer, and whether this redemption is for certain people, the Bible says: “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:17). God’s love is for the whole world. He wants guidance for everyone. Also, Jesus salvation was for the whole world as well. It is worth noting that salvation from sin is through accepting Christ the redeemer. The Bible says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Jesus Christ says as well: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6). Thus, we see that Jesus came to guide, save and redeem everyone without exception.”

“By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” (Hebrews 10:10)

“and without shedding of blood is no remission.” (Hebrews 9:22)

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24).

So, the previous texts lead to conclude that the faith is based on the following:

– Jesus came to the world with salvation by dying on the cross to bring atonement between Holy God and sinful man.

– Salvation and having an eternal life can be achieved through the belief in Jesus as a savior and a redeemer.

But did Jesus really come for salvation, and did he die for the sins of man? This has to be studied and analyzed in details.

  • Yes indeed JESUS did came for the salvation of sinful man and HE laid down HIS life as the atonement for sin. And after HIS work of redemption was finished He arose from the dead just as HE told HIS followers on more than one occasion.

  • Thank you for the commentary. Amen. I believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. He bore the penalty for my sins and died on the cross in my stead to redeem me back to God. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!!!

  • So when was hw really born we were told it was in August if so then why do we celebrate the 25 dec did he really make wine from water and what was his real purposes of coming to earth thank u

  • You state that Christ died for all sinners ( mankind ) to make that statement knowing that all are not saved is dangerous. That makes Christs’ sacrifice a failure ! Because all are not redeemed ! Please think this through .

  • Does Christ serve as Mediator for those in hell ? Please think about these things before making such statements!
