Conclusion

  • God created righteous and wicked men. Righteous men will live an eternal life and the wicked will surely die as God did with the people of Noah and Lot. However, according to the law of God, only the sinners have punished not their sons nor other people.
  • We found that God has punished a man for Adam and Eve sin with a worldly punishment that will remain until the last day. It was not stopped by Jesus salvation nor did he save any man from that punishment.
  • Also, During the time of former peoples: God punished only the sinners and never punished the good for the wickedness of the bad. Therefore, the sinners never made use of Jesus salvation because they were punished. The same goes for the good, they survived without having to wait for Jesus salvation or believe in him as a savior or redeemer.
  • God has made four ways to forgive sinners and give them life:
  • Offering a sacrifice in the altar
  • A statute forever which is gathering one day every year.
  • Sinners need to do righteous acts and atone sins to be saved
  • Asking God directly for forgiveness which washes away sins.
  • The death of Jesus was not redemption for the man because it not fit with the 4 conditions of the redemption as per the law of God:
    • Slaughter is the only form of accepted sacrifice. Jesus was not slaughtered. He was stabbed in his leg to bleed.
    • No one touched his flesh as was mentioned in the law.
    • the priest did not offer it,
    • And no one asked for forgiveness when Jesus was executed.
  • In addition, Crucifixion of Jesus was an execution sentenced by the priests. It was not an offering for God to forgive sins.
  • Also, we found that Saying Jesus abolished the law of sin offering and died to redeem people is not correct, because, in that sense, he did not redeem man but redeemed the offerings.

In general, we note the following in the story of Jesus’ death and redemption:

First:  Redemption should be a festive mass that suits the event but that did not happen.

Second: After the event, Jesus’ body should have been buried in a ceremony that everyone should participate in. But that also did not happen.

Third: Everyone, including the disciples, should have been waiting for the resurrection to celebrate Jesus for what he did. But this did not happen. On the contrary, what happened is this:

  • Nobody remembered what he said about resurrection after three days except the priests
  • His disciples did not attend the two most important events: crucifixion and getting out of the grave
  • Resurrection was a secret that nobody knew about
  • He couldn’t move the stone himself. Two angels did that for him
  • The disciples doubted his resurrection. Without exaggeration, this destroys the whole theory of redemption. They should know the details of the plan of redemption. What message did Jesus want to convey to the people through his resurrection if the disciplines who are supposed to preach doubted him?

Fourth: Jesus did not want to die as a redeemer as mentioned here:

“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”(Luka 22:42)

Fifth: when he died no one understood why he died. And the aim of redemption (which is forgiving people’s sin) did not happen. On the contrary, only a few believed in Jesus only because he was a righteous man. The majority of the people were sinners and they were happy for his death. Was the aim of redemption?

Sixth: The discussion we had which concluded that redemption is not such a heroic act because it was temporary.

Therefore, we conclude that the theory of redemption is contradictory and incomplete because:

  • The conditions of the sacrifice were not met.
  • Neither Jesus nor the priests meant to offer the sacrifice.
  • It did not achieve its intended results
  • Doubting that the one who came out of the grave was Jesus

What happened then? Were some of crucified? The answer is yes, maybe. But the question should be: Was Jesus the one who was crucified? To answer this question, we need to note the following:

1- None of the authors of the four Gospels had witnessed the crucifixion nor the resurrection. This makes us doubt the credibility of these events, especially that there are many differences in the stories they told as we note here.

2- There are many differences and contradictions in the Gospels.

3-: If we read the Psalms’ prophesies closely, we would find that they predict saving Jesus and crucifying Judas instead.

4: Theses prophesies are supported by the following verse which asserts that God would save Jesus.

as what he asked him in Luka 22:42

“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”

Then, the god answered his wish:

.” Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death and was heard in that he feared;(Hebrews 5:7)

5: Let us remember the qualities of the crucified person according to the four Gospels:

  • Doubting the person who was tried,
  • None of the disciples attended the crucifixion nor the resurrection
  • The crucified person did not want to be crucified and asked God to save him
  • Christ warned his disciples of many false Christs
  • The disciples doubted the one who came out of the grave

So we believe that the only explanation that would make sense is that God saved Jesus and brought him to heaven and punished Judas who died instead of Jesus.

Finally, our dear reader, we want to reconfirm that we apologize if this research resulted in any negative outcomes for you. This was not our goal, we were just seeking a scientific discussion to know the truth and to honor Jesus Christ who was insulted by theses discretions that were mentioned in the Gospels and might be misinterpreted.

What we concluded might be right or wrong. It is just a personal opinion. If you want, you can accept it, or refuse it. In either way, you have my love and respect.

God bless you and peace are upon you.
